A New Year

2010 review

Into another year, lets hope that 2011 was as fantastic as last year.

I managed to achieve 19 podiums, 10 firsts and 9 seconds, which I’m really stoked with, its going to be hard to beat that this year. I did a total of 31 comps and 11 of those in Europe.

I filmed with BBC Sportsround at the beginning of the year, which was really exciting. After the Brit’s I went with the DC team to Chamonix and Kitzbuhl, to film a DC pod cast for a week, which was really fun and it was the first trip away without my parents. But on the last day in Les Houche, Chamonix I bruised my Achilles tendon which was really painful. I have also been filming a series of edits from the indoor domes around Europe, with Dad, called Dome and Away, 3 of them have been put on the internet and had over 9,000 hits. My video has had nearly 6,500 hits and we have just made the second part, which is doing well, both in the video section on my site. My web site has had nearly 6,000 hits in the last 12 months and I’m going to work hard to update it regularly.

I’m off to the Burton European Open this week, I cant wait. I’m not sure of all my plans for this year, but should be going to the Brits and the board test, also ISPO in Munich and we have some Eurodome trips planned and there is lots of other exciting stuff happening in the pipe line. This year Flow snowboards have set me a challenge for every month I do an act of kindness, to take photos and videos and I will be rewarded with a trip to Windels or Camp Of Champs in the USA with Flow snowboards in the Summer that will be sick.

Thanks to DC, Flow snowboards, Electric Visual, Buff and The Snow Centre, for you continual support.
